If you are applying for the Hardship program, you must show proof of a verifiable financial hardship. Listed below are examples:

- Be unemployed at time of application submission
- Current Unemployment Check Stub
- Food Stamp Card
- AFDC Card
- Aid Verification Summary (AVS)
- Other documentation verifying financial hardship (approved by FIREHIRE® Inc.)

- If you elect not to show up at any event for any reason, you will forfeit your opportunity to complete the current examination process, and be required to pay the full examination participation fee if you want to participate for any agency in the future.
