The written examination is weighed at 100%. The written examination material will be taken directly from the current FIREHIRE® Inc. Study Guide.
The fee to participate in the written examination is $50.00. There is a hardship fee of $30.00.
FIREHIRE® Inc. accepts successful completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). When submitting your CPAT completion card or certificate, the completion date must not be more than a year old from the date of the written examination that you are scheduled for. When submitting a copy of the CPAT completion card or certificate, it must submitted on/or before the written examination date.
If you do not submit a valid CPAT card or certificate by the required date, you will be scheduled to participate in the FPAT (FIREHIRE® Inc. Physical Ability Test). The fee for participating in the FPAT is $25.00. This fee will not be required until you pass the written examination and scheduled for the FPAT. We will only accept money orders, cashiers checks or MasterCard/Visa payments. NO PERSONAL CHECKS will be accepted.
The EMT-Paramedics will be required to participate in an Advanced Life Support Mega-Code Assessment Center, which will be considered Pass/Fail. There is no fee for the candidates in this phase of the examination process. |

NEXT WRITTEN EXAMINATION
|
The next FIREHIRE® Inc. written examination will be held on July 14th, 2008 at the Barbara Morse Wackford Community Center at 9014 Bruceville Road in Elk Grove, California 95758. Please show up at least 20 minutes early to check-in. Click here to download a map to the examination site.
Please read your invitation letter thoroughly. Please DO NOT bring any personal items. This includes pens, pencils, backpacks, study material, etc. The items required to participate in the examination will be provided. Please DO NOT bring any food or drink, as they WILL NOT be allowed at the test site. Please leave your pagers and/or cell phones in your vehicle. You will not be required to possess your invitation letter, but you will have to have picture identification available upon sign-in.
Please DO NOT show up late, because you WILL NOT be admitted under any circumstances once the doors to the examination site are closed. |

PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST
|
