FCTC WRITTEN EXAM RESULTS - JUNE 25, 2014

FIREHIRE is now the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC)!

The Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC) is your new one-stop resource for written and physical ability testing for firefighter candidates and fire departments. Operated by the California Fire Fighter Joint Apprenticeship Committee (CFFJAC), FCTC combines rigorous, validated written testing with the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT). The CFFJAC’s three decades of experience in fire service recruitment, testing and training gives FCTC the tools to offer high-quality, relevant testing that will make it easier to match qualified candidates with the agencies that need them.

Firefighter Consortium Testing

Firefighter Jobs in CaliforniaFCTC is a service that helps match potential firefighter candidates to firefighter job openings. We administer entry-level firefighter written exams for firefighter candidates, under contract with various fire departments and agencies. The agency then receives an updated list of candidates who meet the agency's individual hiring critera, such as EMT or Paramedic certification, minimum education standards, geographic location, and other qualifications. FCTC manages these lists and maintains an accurate, up-to-date list of qualified firefighter candidates, reducing the time commitment and cost of hiring for fire agencies.
